Be clean in terms of text formatting without any unnecessary detail that will distract your audience

Have royalty free HD images and icons that will be based on slide content

Have consistency over the entire presentation by using appropriate theme elements across the slides

Not have animations and transitions effects by default. I think these are distractions that are not needed when creating a professional Power Point presentation. I can add animations and transition effects if specifically requested in order.
